Dan Clark, Owner/Master Wood Finisher has been in the wood finishing business for 38 years and is known nationally and internationally for his expertise. He thoroughly enjoys what he does.  He is known in the industry as “Doctor Dan”.  He considers himself a true “artist”. Dan Clark is also licensed and insured.  Upscale Training Institute is an off-shoot of Upscale Wood Finishing which opened its doors in 2004 under a different name at first and was changed in 2005.

Known as Dr. Dan (in the industry) for his 38 years of wood finishing expertise, “Dr. Dan” Clark has a large variety of wood finishing experience with high end finishes in the Kitchen Cabinetry and Architectural Woodworking Industries.  In the monumental grade finishes – his portfolio includes:  Goebel Cabinetry, MA Mortenson Construction, Amadeus Builders, Concepts Millworks, New World Millworks, Pinkard Construction, Nacoma Millwork (a lot of field touch-up on the East and West Coast), Cabinetry By Karman, Genesis Innovations, Wigand Corporation and Kitchen and Bath Design Center (Evergreen). Dan Clark has  worked nationally and internationally for Ritz Carlton Hotels (including Barcelona, Spain, Marina Del Ray), Omni Hotels, Deloitte & Touche Accounting Firms (Dallas and Washington, D.C.), Fullbright & Jawarski Law Firms (Washington DC, and Dallas), Broadmoor Hotels (Colo. Springs), as well as BILL GATES’ Model Home (completed in a Design Firm) and has finished or refinished over 975 private residences in Telluride, Steamboat, Aspen & Vail, Denver and Colorado Springs (from 1992-2018).
